waffle

Almost everyday sekarang ni hujan tak kira pagi ke petang . Tapi ini semua ketentuan Allah SWT. Kalau dah waktu waktu hujan gini selalulnya perut pun cepat lapar. Apa lagi kita pun mencari-cari apa yang boleh dibuat. Suddenly i remembered my friend Mashitah ada tulis dalam fb dia resipi waffle. Did some reading before and noted that by adding yeast waffle become more crispy. So take a chance by modifying my freind's recipe to replace baking powder with yeast. True indeed it turn out to be crispy. Actually i prepared two mixture i.e one with baking powder and the other one with yeast.
Plain waffle 

Waffle with vanila ice cream
WAFFLES

Ingredient
a) 2.5 cups of plain flour
b) 2-3 cups of fresh milk
c) 2 or 3 eggs (depends on the size)
d) 60 - 70 gram butter
e) 3 tea spoon (paras) baking powder ( Replaced with yeast about 1/4 of sachet)
f) 1 teaspoon (full) shortening (nona brand or other vegetarian source)
g) 1 - 2 tablespoon sugar
h) 2 - 3 teaspoon (paras) salt (saya pakai 2 teasp saja)

Method
1. Tepung, shortening baking powder salt n sugar dicampur sekali. Masukkan 2 cawan susu dulu dan mix until adunan tak berketul lagi.
2. Melt butter atas api kecil supaya tak hangit, then masukkan dalam adunan tadi atas tadi. Kacau sebati.
3. Beat egg sampai naik n tuang dalam adunan tadi. Tuangkan balance of the milk n kacau. Adunan jgn terlalu cair or pekat*. If pekat waffle akn jdi tebal n if terlalu cair waffle tak akan terbentuk.
4. Heat up the waffle maker n sapukan butter/mentega. Guna 1 senduk kuah untuk tuang dlm waffle maker. Bila masak the light on the maker will turn green. Sapu butter sekali cukup but waffle will tend to melekat pada acuan after 2/3 times bakar. So, sapu butter again before tuang dlm acuan.

Note: Butter yg disapu pada acuan tu tak perlu dibuat everytime you nak bakar sbb it'll be too oily. Furthermore dlm ingredient itself dah ada butter. Just sapu supaya waffle tak melekat pada acuan.
